Rhythmic Entrainment

The formation of regular, predictable patterns in time and/or space through interactions within or between systems that manifest potential symmetries. It is associated with the rhythmic regularity and predictability of simple, highly redundant behaviors such as running, phonatory oscillations, or the autonomically regulated rhythms of our heart and breathing rates that maintain homeostasis.[1]
