Postural Equilibrium

Facilitated by the vestibular apparatus, or sensory organ of the inner ear. Equilibrium plays a crucial role in monitoring head position relative to gravity, rotation, and acceleration for the purpose of equalizing us to the force of gravity and maintaining our sense of balance.
