Nonlinear Source-filter Theory

A source–filter model of vocal resonance with the added component of possible interactivity between the filter and the source, such that certain resonation postures of the filter cause feedback on the vibrator that alters the function and contribution of the vibrator, ideally by assisting its efficiency.[1]
