(LTAS) A plot of amplitude as a function of frequency averaged over a period of time. The averaged power spectrum is created by a fast Fourier transform. Because the LTAS represents an average, it can represent the glottal contributions of a speech signal as opposed to those contributions from articulation even if many different articulatory gestures are included.[1]
