Linea Alba

Meaning “white line”; the linea alba is a fibrous band that runs vertically down the center of the abdominal wall. It originates at the xiphoid process of the sternum and inserts at the pubic symphosis. The linea alba serves as a place of attachment for several abdominal muscles.[1]
