Helmholtz Resonator

A hollow enclosure having a small opening consisting of such dimensions that the enclosure resonates at a single frequency determined by the dimensions of the space and the opening. The larger the contained space and the smaller its opening, the lower the frequency of the resonator, and vice versa.[1]
