Analysis of the voice based upon an audio recording. Acoustic analysis includes measurements such as voice range, vibrato rate, vibrato extent, vibrato jitter, voicing time, alpha ratio, habitual speaking pitch, spectral slope, duration of phonation, harmonic-to-noise ratio, cepstral peak prominence, jitter and shimmer, amplitude in dB, and usually involving examination of the audio waveform, power spectrum or spectrogram of an acoustic sample.[1]
